@kas Soy, flax, and chia seeds are the most hormonal of foods. In particularly they contain a heavy dose of lignans, a type of plant estrogen. As a middle-age male, I avoid all three.

@quite not quite. I have no documents of importance, or anything not backed up elsewhere on any device's primary built in storage. I can format/factory reset any device without caring.

Due to the unfortunate regular downtime lately, my phlog will be dual hosted. SDF will be maintained for the listing, my site will point to a local copy instead.

@freemor I wrote about it here: gopher://sdf.org/0/users/jynx/dat/20180101.post

@freemor I find myself just plain enjoying FreeBSD more than Linux. This particular escapade failed however due to FBSD not supporting my hardware.
[9.8 months ago]
I am thinking seriously about wiping my HP Stream 14 laptop and installing FreeBSD 12. Like everything else I own, it has no personal files on it, the move from Arch to BSD will not hurt.

@nblade console mastodon and twtxt have a lot of the same feel :D

@nblade it is sometimes fun to read a timeline. I am turned off by most web UIs, thus the txt client.

I think I have settled on tootstream for mastodon. It does the job and has a simple interface.
