new entry on the site. this one about a new todo method I've started using: https://hex22.org/blog/todo-networks/
[3 weeks ago]
for the last 2 days I've been thinking about a way to manage my todos and seems like I'll have to return to my good old notebook
[3 weeks ago]
spent the afternoon with making some automations to handle the books on my kindle and the highlights. the outcome is quite smooth. thanks github.com/frnsys

so i'm spending my time with cleaning up my are.na from old channels and there was one called chicken farming automation

are.na open while i'm awake

and to be honest Music for Airports is not my type of ambient. maybe it's a bit too ambient and doesn't suck you in. but now I've listened to Ambient 4 for the first time and this album is truly a masterpiece
[3 weeks ago]
for some reason I've never dipped myself in the music of Eno, it somehow skipped my ambient journey...

i've made an archived version wiki.xxiivv.com and 100r.co and oh, boy, they're huge

after quite some time, a new entry on my site: https://hex22.org/blog/stakit/

btw if anyone receives my messages and responds, i don't check the twtxt feed, just tossing thoughts here. into the void.

but wow, the design of go is amazing
why isn't there a url file format?
compiling a go project is like hell, because of the weird project structure...

maybe i should try to be more active here. having friends in my terminal is like heaven

@joshavanier welcome!

/wiki @ckipp i actually like the idea of interconnected reading lists
[7.3 months ago]
/wiki so basically a wiki that uses multiple twtxt feeds as sources?
[7.5 months ago]
@ckipp it might disappear in a few months and i think that's okay. the data can be just reused as it's in a human-readable format on your machine. from time to time, we move to another island on the ocean of the web.
[7.5 months ago]
@ckipp and i have the same problem now as in rotonde's days: what should i tweet where? where will i reach all the people who care about a specific tweet and no-one who doesn't
[7.5 months ago]
@ckipp in rotonde's case, i think, one problem was that dat wasn't meant for social-networking, and while it worked nicely for small number of people, it became very slow for larger groups. i see twtxt as more future-proof, accessible and stable.

@neauoire on what device / setup are you running #plan9?
[7.7 months ago]
/meta @neauoire agree! please support normal twtxt mentions.
[7.9 months ago]
@neauoire for me certbot always works surprisingly easy: https://certbot.eff.org/ #rpi
[7.9 months ago]
/meta @gaeel i think their UX purpose has to be decided. are they marking that this post belongs to that channel or are they just a shortcut to that channel?
[7.9 months ago]
/meta @gaeel shouldn't the highlighting then only show those as channels? otherwise it's not really clear.
[7.9 months ago]
@gaeel ah, that makes sense and as i remember it was something like this on rotonde too
[7.9 months ago]
/meta what's the difference between the purpose of channels and tags?
[7.9 months ago]
@neauoire should webring maintainers also review and merge technical prs or just new sites?
[7.9 months ago]
@setphen no, i think only the date value matters
[7.9 months ago]
/twtxt I particularly like in this little tool that it's just like rotonde, but instead of forcing DAT on everyone it lets you choose
[7.9 months ago]
/meta @neauoire happy to jump in to help
[7.9 months ago]
/hallway it's so good to be next to you, people, in a slowly-updating feed. feels like rotonde.
[7.9 months ago]
hello everyone
